Using Subdomains >>
All of our Unix Hosting Plans (except for the Starter Plan) allow you
to create Subdomains. A Subdomain offers an easy to remember web address
for a specific item, and helps your branding. For example, lets say
your site was www.shopping.com and
you wanted a subdomain just for Books . . . your web address to that
could be books.shopping.com - each
Subdomain has it's own CGI Bin and Website Statistics,
so it acts as an entire website!
Note: Our Silver and Gold Hosting
Plans allow you to set up "Addon" Domains, which can be assigned
to a subdirectory. This gives you flexibility in marketing, and works
as an entirely separate website.

Web Site Statistics >>
Each Account includes 3 different programs for analyzing your Web Site
Stats - The NEW AwStats (informative,
with great graphics) simple statistics (Analog Web Statistics), in-depth
statistics (Webalizer Web Statistics), visitor information (Your Latest
Visitors), Bandwidth usage, and error logging information (Error Log).
This is a valuable tool in optimizing your site for customer satisfaction.
Note: Subdomain Statistics
are able to be viewed independantly. You have all of the statistics
listed above, but they will treat each one of your Subdomains as an
entirely separate website! Just click on the Subdomain Stats Icon /
choose which subdomain you want stats for.

Raw Log Files >>
If you are really serious about analyzing your web site traffic, you
can download your Raw Access Logs to your local hard drive with one
click. Files are in a GZ format and can be opened with WinZip, or interpreted
with a Traffic Analyzer like WebLog

If you have the need to password protect certain directories, then this
is your solution. This tool will allow you to password protect any and
all directories that need it. It will allow you to add users and delete
users of that directory as well.

Parked Domains >>
If you want to use another domain name for your website, you can add
it by clicking on the "Domain Parking" Icon in your Cpanel.
This will automatically create a new IP Address and let you see all
of your web pages using the "Parked" domain as well as your
original domain. All mail sent to the new "Parked" domain
will be automatically forwarded to your original email accounts.
Our Silver Hosting Plan allows 1 Parked Domain, and our Gold Plan allows
2 Parked Domains. This can be a great marketing tool.

Addon Domains >>
Addon Domains can be pointed to Subdirectories to give them a catchy
address. Let's say you had a subdirectory called "books".
The current address is http://books.mysite.com.
You could set up an "Addon Domain" in Cpanel for another domain
such as "mybooks.com". Now you could market www.mybooks.com
as the address for http://books.mysite.com
- easier name to remember.. Each one of the Addon Domains will have
their own website statistics, and act as an entirely separte website
. . . all within your main site.
Our Bronze Hosting Plan allows 5 Addon Domains, Our Silver Hosting
Plan allows 10 Addon Domains, and our Gold Plan allows 25 Addon Domains.

Index Manager >>
Any folder on your website that doesn't have an index.html page will
display the contents by default. This could create a potential security
problem to any private files you may have. If you have any folders that
contain sensitive information, you can protect the contents of the folder
by using the Index Manager to create a "Forbidden" warning
to anyone trying to access it.

Page Re-Directs >>
If you want to re-direct visitors from one page to another, this will
do the job. Page re-directs are very useful when a page is outdated,
or removed from your Site . . . you can send people to any page you
want INSTANTLY. This is much better than a redirect script, which search
engines frown on. Setting up a Page Re-Direct is easy from within your
Cpanel.

Backup Utility >>
Within the Cpanel you have the ability to download a .tar backup of
your file structure, cgi, html, email, etc. You can do this as often
as you desire. Once a day, once a week, once a month, etc.

You can schedule specific tasks to perform at certain times by creating
a Cron Job. This utility can be accessed and configured from within
our Cpanel - Note: this is only recommended
for advanced users.

POP Email Accounts >>
POP Email accounts allow you to use your favorite email program (Outlook,
Outlook Express, Eudora, etc.) to read & send email using Your
Domain Name: ie you@yourdomain.com,
without any advertising messages. This makes your email look
much more professional. Our Hosting Plans all come with multiple Email

SMTP Account >> Most Hosting
companies only handle your Incoming mail, but each of our hosting packages
comes with a SMTP account to handle BOTH your Incoming and your Outgoing
mail as mail.yourdomainname.com. You have
the option to send email directly from your own personal mail server
using an email program such as Eudora, Outlook or Outlook Express.

Web Based Email >>
We include 3 popular WebMail Programs with each account. Web-based email
provides an email system similar to Yahoo or Hotmail. You could check
your email, store and retrieve your address book, bookmarks, schedules,
and more with our web-based email system . . . Web Based Email is very
handy when you're away from your computer, it enables you to access
your Email from ANY computer with Internet access through a browser.

Catch-All Account >>
A Catch-All Email account accepts any mail directed to your domain name.
Let's say you have an email address of bobby@yourdomain.com
and someone typed in BOB@yourdomain.com,
this email will not be lost or bounced back. Instead, it will be automatically
directed to your catch-all account to avoid losing important messages!

You can set your Default Email Address to be any address that you like,
so that all unrouted mail can then be handled by that email account,
or forwarded to anywhere you choose.

You can set Mailing Lists to collect email addresses for specific topics
/ items. This can be used very effectively as a way to keep users /
clients informed of any updates, or create newsletters and subscriptions
with. The amount of Mailing Lists your account will have is equal to
the number of Email Accounts. ie. our Starter Plan comes with 5 Email
Accounts, so you would be able to set up 5 Mail Lists.

Email Forwarding lets you set up specific email addresses, and assign
a forwarding address to each one. Let's say you wanted to forward all
email for sales@yourdomain.com to your
sales specialists' account, and have all email addressed to tech@yourdomain.com
forwarded to your tech specialist at their Yahoo account, etc. You can
easily set up email accounts and assign forwarding addresses through
the Cpanel.

The email aliasing feature allows you to have multiple addresses for
one POP mailbox. For example, If your Domain Name was abc.com you could
have sales@abc.com and info@abc.com

mySQL Databases >> Pronounced
"my S-Q-L" or "my-see-quill," is a very popular
open source, relational database that works with UNIX based servers.
mySQL databases are very powerful, and easy to use! Each database
could store specific information, relevant to a certain topic. That
information could then be retreived at any time. You can password protect
each database, so that your valuable information is safeguarded. You
can manage your databases using PHPmyAdmin
from your Cpanel.
Note: every account also includes
PostgreSQL databases.

and manage your mySQL databases within your account. PHPmyAdmin lets
