How to Install Soholaunch Pro:     Watch Movie

1. Login to your Cpanel from http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel
   

   enter in your Username
   enter in your Password

2. Click on the icon to launch Fantastico (bottom of Cpanel's main screen)
3. Choose Soholaunch Pro Editor from the left column menu
4. Click on New Installation
5. Fill in the Admin access data -choose a username & password (this can be the same as your Cpanel login, or different if you like)
6. Click "Install Soholaunch Pro Edition" (if it won't install click here)
7. Click on "Finish Installation" to continue
8. Enter your Email Address at the bottom to receive your login information

Soholaunch is now installed - If you want the Premium Features added (Shopping Cart, Databases, etc.) you will need to contact us for a Premium License

Installation Problems - Error Messages?

I get a message saying "The installation can not be completed: ..."
That means you have FrontPage Extensions installed on your hosting account. This prevents Soholaunch from creating it's own Images Folder, since FrontPage had already created one.

Solution: delete your Images Folder => Here's How:

1. Login to your Cpanel from http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel
   and enter in your Username and Password
2. Click the icon to open File Manager (row 2 of Cpanel's main screen)
3. Click the icon to the left of public_html to
4. Click the word images to view it's properties
5. In the right hand column of the images folder:
   Click on "Delete this folder and all files under it"
6. Click on the Trashcan to empty it and then click to close screen
7. Now you can re-install Soholaunch Pro from Step 2

I'm getting a "No Valid License" message after logging in!
That means you are trying to install to a Subdomain, or you have a dedicated IP Address, or you used to have Soholaunch at your previous hosting company and the license is not using our web servers' IP.

Solution: You will need to contact us to create a license for you.

Problems installing Soholaunch to a Subdomain?
Soholaunch looks for any subdomains and lists them for you in a dropdown menu to select from. To install to a Subdomain:

• make sure you create your subdomain in Cpanel first
• choose that subdomain from the dropdown menu during installation

Solution: contact us if Soholaunch can"t create a subdomain license.

Problems installing to a dedicated IP Addresses?
Soholaunch will automatically try to create a licence for your domain using your dedicated IP Address.

How Soholaunch works - using Drag n' Drop
Soholaunch uses a simple "drag and drop" method to add text, images, and other features to create robust web pages with ease. You can also delete features by dragging them off the grid and dropping them onto the Delete Object Icon.

Hint - To move a top option into a block to work with it, click & drag it into a grid.

How do I add or edit some Text?
Soholaunch uses a simple "drag and drop" method:

• choose the page you wish to edit
• now drag and drop the button to anywhere on your page
• choose "basic" or "advanced" Text Editor Mode
• type in the text and format it to your liking and click
• preview page, add or edit, and

To Edit - double click on the item you added and repeat steps as neccessary

How do I make text lines Single Spaced?
The default spacing for text is double spaced when you hit your keyboard's Enter key. To create Single Spacing:

• make sure you are in Text Editor Mode
• type some text, then hold your keyboard's "Shift" key down
• while holding "Shift" key down click "Enter"
• this creates a single line space <br> tag automatically

How do I add Images, a picture, etc?
Soholaunch uses a simple "drag and drop" method:

1) choose the page you wish to edit
2) now drag and drop the button to anywhere on your page

This opens the Image Selection interface

3) click "Upload File" to upload images from your computer ... follow prompts
4) now you can choose the image to add from the "drop down" menu and click "OK"

How do I Delete an item from the page grid?
Find the item on your page grid and hold your mouse down on it, and drag it up to the "Delete Object" in the upper right corner to remove.

How do I turn some text into a Hyperlink?
Click on the text object that you want to edit to open up the Text Editor. Drag your mouse to highlight the text you want to create the hyperlink for and click on the icon in your Toolbar. From there you can browse to locate a Page on your site, or you can link to another website, or create an email address.

How do I add a Hyperlink to an image?
1) Click on the image to open up the basic hyperlink options.

This opens the Image Hyperlinks interface

3) now you can choose what kind of Hyperlink to add:

• Option1 - click the "drop down" menu to link to a page on your site
• Option2 - type in the web address (URL) to link to another website
• Option3 - type in an email address

How do I create a custom Hyperlink for an image?
To do this you will have to add your image this way:

• choose the page you wish to edit
• drag the button to anywhere on your page
• choose "advanced" Text Editor Mode (gives you more options)
• click on the icon at the top middle of menu to insert image
• this opens the "Open/Save dialog" window - choose image and click "Open"
• "right click" on image to open the "Image Properties" window to alter Size, set Alignment, and create a Title that appears when moused over (alt tag)
• click "OK"

To add the custom hyperlink:

1) click on the image (this selects it)
2) click on the icon at the top middle of menu to insert hyperlink

This opens the Create Link window

3) now you can choose what kind of Hyperlink to add:

• click the Site Pages "drop down" menu to link to a page on your site
• type in the web address (URL) to link to another website
• type in an email address

4) click
5) now "right click" on the image and choose "Link properties" from the menu
6) in the "Link Properties" window you can set the custom properties, etc.
    (external linked pages will only open up in a new window)
7) click
8) preview page, add or edit, and

To Edit - double click on the item you added and repeat steps as neccessary

I want a picture to be on the left side / right side of page
By default Soholaunch positions your picture in the middle of the page. To get it to position it on the left / or the right of a page do this:

• drag and drop to insert the picture where you would like it positioned
• now drag and drop a text box next to the picture (in the middle of the page)
• open the text box and delete all the text - this will force the image over

Note: To have more control over image placement, space, etc. you should delete your image and re-insert the image like this:

• choose the page you wish to edit
• now drag and drop the button to anywhere on your page
• choose "advanced" Text Editor Mode (gives you more options)
• click on the icon at the top middle of menu to insert image
• this opens the "Open/Save dialog" window - choose image and click "Open"
• "right click" on image to open the "Image Properties" window to alter Size, set Alignment, and create a Title that appears when moused over (alt tag)
• click "OK"

I want some text to be on the right side / or middle of page
By default Soholaunch positions text to the left of the page. To position differently just highlight the text, then click one of the positioning icons

You can also create columns of text next to each other - Here's how:

• drag and drop the Text Editor where you would like it positioned
• drag and drop the Text Editor next to the previous text box to create 2 columns of text, or repeat to add a third column
• edit your text accordingly

How can I add some Custom HTML Code to a page?
The easiest way is to:

1. copy the HTML code you would like to add
2. Open the page to edit in Soholaunch
3. now drag and drop the button to a grid on your page
4. Select "Advanced" editor mode
5. click the "HTML" button on lower left of page
6. Paste your custom code onto page
7. click
8. preview page, add or edit, and

Note: You could copy and paste the entire HTML code of a page this way!

How can I get rid of the page links at the bottom of pages?
Go to the "Main Menu" and click on "Menu Display". In the Auto Menu window find the "Text Menu Display" and click the "No" button ... then Save Menu System.

How do I tell my Shopping Cart to use an SSL Secure Certificate?
To add a SSL Certificate on your web site when going to the checkout, go into Shopping Cart, then Payment Options, scroll to option #6 and place the SSL Certificate location in the field. Example: https://yourdomain.com

To use your Free Shared Certificate: https://www.2serveu.net/~username
Note that username will be replaced by your username

Can I use a Custom Template for my Shopping Cart pages?
Yes, but it will require some knowledge of HTML and css stylesheet editing.

You can upload the following files into your customized templates folder (tCustom), which will be used instead of the current cart layout.

1. cart.html - Used as template in place of "index.html" for shopping cart
2. cart.css - Used in place of custom.css (or runtime.css) for shopping cart
