Cpanel HTML Editor Tutorials
This Tutorial shows you how to Modify Text, Styles, and Colors
to create and edit web pages using Cpanel's HTML Editor, included
Free with all of our Hosting Plans. Each
Tutorial below assumes you have clicked on the file you want to
edit and have it opened in the HTML Editor window. If you don't

Modifying Text, Styles and Colors
Now let's see what else we can do with text. We will be working
with the text styles and colors, using the text toolbar, which is
pictured below.
This is your Text Toolbar

Each item on the toolbar performs a separate function, and is grouped
in a way that should be familiar to you. Let's explore some of the
functions.
Text Styles
This is the Text Styles group
To use: 1) Highlight text How?,
2) click to make selection
Bold Face - makes text darker. Bold style is often
used for Headers
Italic - makes your text lean to the right. Italic style
shows emphasis
Underline - makes your text underlined, another way to emphasize
Bold Italic - remember that Text Styles can also be
combined
7) Bold Facing the Text - Just Highlight your text again and click
the "B"
(you can also click the "I"
to add Italics and the "U" to Underline)
Text Colors and Highlights
This is the Text Colors group
To use: 1) Highlight text How?,
2) click to open the Color Chart
8) Changing Text Color - click on the Font Color Icon to
open the color window

This brings up the Color Chart window
| 9) Select the Color you want |
Click OK to apply the color to text

Tip: Click your mouse anywhere
outside the highlighted text
to view changes
Now your Text should look like this:

Adding a Colored Highlight - This will
highlight your text,
pick from the color window
Adding a colored highlight is another way to emphasize text. You
can add a colored highlight to any text by
- Highlight text How?
- click on the Colored Highlight icon
- choose a color from the Color Chart
window
- click "OK" to apply
Tip: click Undo
if you don't like your changes, or Redo to revert back
