How to create a New Folder
It's easy to add files to your web pages using File Manager
Watch
Movie, but to group them properly you will need to put some
files in separate folders. These folders should be named with short
keywords to group your site logically. This will help you find files,
and help search engines to index your site.
So let's learn how to create a new folder called "images"
to store your images in:
1) Create a New Folder - Go to your File Manager. If it isn't already
open:
- 1) Log into your Cpanel - http://www.2serveu.net/cpanel
enter in your username
and password
- 2) Inside Cpanel click on the
File Manager in the
2nd row
- 3) Inside File Manager click on the Folder to the left
of public_html
(This opens your public_html folder,
where all your files should be)

2) Inside the public_html folder click on the link to Create
New Folder
3) Now we are going to create a new folder called images
|
a) find this in top
right of page
|

b) name your Folder
images
|
|
|
You can see at the top right of page that your new folder has been
created

How to Upload Files to a Folder
It's easy to upload files using File Manager

Now let's learn how to upload files to your New Folder
4) Find your new folder in the left bottom of page ... click on
images folder

5) This opens your images folder and a list of functions
- click on Upload file(s)

6) Click the Browse buttons to select images to upload from
your computer. You may upload up to 12 pictures at a time. click
Upload - If you already have files that you want to replace
with new versions you must Checkmark "Overwrite existing files".

Note: Click on the link "Back
to /home/yours/public_html" to return to main folder.
